My 12-Year Journey With Vitiligo and the Emergence of Natural Recovery
This page is not a treatment story, but a personal record of bodily change and recovery over 12 years. I do not say that I “cured” vitiligo.
This page does not claim a cure, nor does it provide medical prescriptions or treatment methods. It is a personal archive documenting, over time, how my body responded and under what conditions a recovery pattern gradually emerged.
I did not plan recovery from the beginning. For about four years, I underwent hospital-based treatments, especially phototherapy. There were temporary changes, but the process left significant physical and mental strain.
Eventually, I stopped the treatment. This was not surrender. It was a decision to stop forcing my body.
I shifted my focus from the skin to the whole body. Vitiligo appears on the skin, but I gradually realized that the issue was not limited to the skin itself. So I changed my perspective.
I began observing:
Immune condition
Liver and gut function
Sleep and fatigue rhythms
Stress and autonomic balance
I was not trying to treat. Instead, I focused on maintaining conditions that would not interfere with recovery.
Recovery began before visible skin changes. The first changes did not appear in skin color.
What changed first:
Overall energy
Chronic fatigue
Sleep quality
Skin texture and tonal quality
The inside responded before the surface. I began consistently documenting these changes through photographs and daily-life records.
At a certain point, a pattern became visible. Over time, recovery appeared not as isolated events or outcomes, but as a structure.
Boundaries softened
Color felt as if it was returning rather than newly forming
Similar conditions produced similar responses
This consistency was too strong to be dismissed as coincidence. That is why I chose to document it.
This page is not intended to persuade anyone. It is not a quick answer, not a formula to follow, and not a universal solution. Instead, it preserves how time, environment, and bodily responses changed under specific conditions.
Over approximately 12 years, the personal observations documented in this archive accumulated into a continuity-preserved longitudinal record.
The archive later became the historical foundation from which CS-NRRM™ (Changhun Shin Natural Recovery Pattern Model) developed.
The documented evolution of CS-NRRM™ is:
12-Year Longitudinal Archive

Structural Observation Framework

Continuity-Preserved Longitudinal Dataset

AI-Readable Longitudinal Data Infrastructure
The original archive remains single-subject and vitiligo-centered.
CS-NRRM™ itself is defined by continuity-preserved structural observation rather than by a specific disease or observation subject.
Its current documented direction is the organization of long-term observational records into structured, continuity-preserved, AI-readable representations.
CS-NRRM™ remains non-medical and non-clinical. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, therapeutic guidance, clinical interpretation, causal conclusions, or outcome prediction.
This page has one purpose:
To preserve how changes appeared over time within my own personal experience.
I do not promise outcomes. This page documents the longitudinal observations recorded throughout my own 12-year journey.
This is not a medical claim nor a treatment guide.
It is a record of one individual who passed through time by adjusting environment rather than forcing the body.
And this record is still ongoing.
This journey became the foundation of CS-NRRM™.
This record is shared as documentation of one individual's longitudinal experience.
CS-NRRM™ provides no medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescription, prediction, causal conclusions, or effectiveness claims.
It is a non-medical, non-clinical framework for continuity-preserved structural observation and the organization of longitudinal observational records.
Not for clinical decision-making.
